Republicans priorities, according to Johnson, include securing borders, lowering costs for groceries and gasoline, protecting Americans, and other key issues. Before a new Congress can be seated there are still races pending in Alaska, Arizona, California, Maine, Ohio and Oregon.Addressing the GOP's broader agenda, Johnson noted that the party intends to work closely with Trump's administration to fulfill their shared vision for America.
President Trump fully understands and appreciates the math here, and it's just a numbers game," said Johnson. "We believe we're going to have a larger majority than we had last time. It's too early to handicap it, but we're optimistic about that."
