A member of the security force in the House of Representatives has tested positive for COVID-19, bringing to 13 the total number of confirmed cases.

House Secretary-General Jose Luis Montales said the infected employee used to be assigned at the office and barracks of the House Legislative Security Bureau.

“He last reported for work on July 6. He is presently on home quarantine,” he said.Montales said contact tracing had started for those who had close contacts with the infected security staffer.
