House Of The Dragon Season 2 Will Feature A Major Death In May 2023, a Twitter/X image from the House of the Dragon season 2 set was posted, and it depicted a giant cart that was carrying an object wrapped in blue tarpaulin. The cart is seen on a location set in Spain where a scene that takes place in King's Landing was filmed.
Called "the Red Queen", Meleys is Rhaenys Targaryen's dragon. In Fire & Blood, Rhaenys and Meleys were killed in a battle for Rook's Rest by Aemond and Aegon II, but since Rhaenys' body was never found after the battle, Meleys' head was instead cut off and taken back to King's Landing as a symbol of victory against Rhaenyra and her army.
