The House of Representatives on Tuesday inked an agreement with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) for its hosting of the poll body’s Register Anywhere project, an initiative which expands access to voter registration and where voters could have their voter details corrected, if need be.

“We encourage our House members, personnel, and their dependents and relatives, as well as those of attached agencies, and our people in general to take advantage of this offsite or satellite listing project so they could exercise their right of suffrage in future elections,” he added. “We have been doing this Register Anywhere abroad [for Overseas Absentee Voting]. If we can do it abroad, why can't we do it here, too?” Garcia said in his speech.
