BREAKING: House Speaker Kevin McCarthy confirms for 1st time Ethics Committee investigation into George Santos
ROSLYN, Nassau County --
Later Tuesday morning, House Speaker McCarthy confirmed to reporters that the House Ethics Committee is investigating Santos.Later asked if that statement meant the Ethics Committee is investigating Santos right now, McCarthy said, "yes." It all comes ahead of President Biden's State of the Union Address Tuesday night. Santos says he's bringing a guest, former volunteer firefighter Michael Weinstock.
