House Administration Committee Chair Bryan Steil said in a statement: "Rep Jamaal Bowman pulled a fire alarm in Cannon this morning. An investigation into why it was pulled is underway."What we're hearing:That resolution could face an uphill battle – it would require a two-thirds vote, meaning many Democrats would have to cross the aisle to vote to expel one of their own.

Rep. Joe Morelle told Axios that "it appears from the footage [of the incident] to be him ... I'd like to understand, obviously, what his explanation is."
