Despite suffering from appendicitis and then having surgery hours later to fix the situation, Kelly Clarkson was able to host and perform at the Billboard Awards on Wednesday night.
The show DID go on.
"Not gonna lie.... I may or may not have broken down in tears after the show from pain," she admitted."BUT thanks 2 all the amazing people @ Cedars-Sinai I flew home directly after the event, nailed the surgery early this morning, & feeling awesome now! Bye bye appendix #TheShowMustGoOn." And in classic Clarkson fashion, she followed that reveal with tweets thanking those involved in the show! What a boss.
