It's not looking good
Lancashire can expect a wet Bank Holiday weekend as the rain is set creep across most of the county. As crowds gather for street parties, many will be looking to take umbrellas with them as the forecast is littered with showers across the three day weekend.
Sunday is the best of the three days across Lancashire, with most places getting to see some sun in the afternoon. However any bank holiday Monday plans may need to be reassessed as it is set to be largely wet and miserable. The Met Office said: "Saturday will see a dry start in most places with some bright intervals. Isolated showers developing during this morning, especially in Cumbria and over the Pennines. Turning cloudier this afternoon with patchy light rain possible in the south. Feeling warm in any sunshine."Tonight will see the chance of some showery rain, but this mostly light. Turning generally dry overnight, but staying largely cloudy. Remaining mild. Minimum temperature 9 °C.
"Sunday will be rather cloudy at first, but gradually turning brighter through the morning. Sunny spells for all by the afternoon with a chance of the odd shower. Pleasantly warm in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 18 °C.
