It's going to be another hot day, but the difference will be thunderstorms Monday night.
With clear skies and warm to hot temps already Monday morning, it will be very easy to warm up again today.
There is also an area of low pressure to our south that will introduce some showers and thunderstorms later Monday east of us and in the Cascades. They absolutely will drift over our area Monday night. With the increasing cloudy cover, the slowly increasing onshore wind, and the late-day thunderstorms, I kept high temps at around the same as yesterday in the upper-80s and lower-90s. The record for Seattle is 85°, and I am forecasting 89°.
