Hot Toys continues to expand its Star Wars collection with new figures of Darth Malgus, Sabine Wren, Clone Commander Wolffe, and Plo Koon.
Hot Toys is known for its collaborations with major franchises, and to kick off the new year, they introduced a new figure from one of their most popular lines. The official Hot Toys Instagram announced a new Darth Malgus figure inspired by his appearance in Star Wars Legends.
Darth Malgus, a Sith Lord who lived over 3,000 years before the original Star Wars trilogy, played a crucial role in the Sith's constant attacks against the Jedi, including invading the Jedi Temple and massacring countless people in a brutal battle. The figure comes with Malgus' signature red lightsaber and various face sculpts that showcase his full face, face with a mask, mask and hood, or just a hood. Hot Toys recently unveiled another new Star Wars figure, this time from a more recent project and featuring a character who would be no match for Darth Malgus. Sabine Wren, the latest Star Wars character to receive the Hot Toys treatment, has been announced and shown off in a new figure based on Natasha Liu Bordizzo's portrayal in the popular series, Ahsoka. Prior to revealing the Sabine figure, Hot Toys ventured into the world of Star Wars animation, showcasing new collectibles for Clone Commander Wolffe and his 104th Battalion troopers. This followed the unveiling of a new figure of Wolffe and the 104th's commander, Plo Koon, who is also one of the best pilots in the galaxy. The latest Star Wars Disney+ series, Skeleton Crew, garnered rave reviews upon its premiere. While reception may not be as strong now as it was after the first two episodes, it remains one of Star Wars' finest offerings. The show currently holds a 90% score from critics and a 79% rating from general audiences on Rotten Tomatoes, high scores that warrant a look from all Star Wars fans
