Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest: Time, TV, streaming info and everything else you need to knowAmerica’s favorite Fourth of July tradition is almost here. The 103rd annual Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest will take place on Thursday.

Joey Chestnut is the 10:1 favorite to win, with an over/under of 73 hot dogs, according to oddsmaker Danny Sheridan. He has taken home the $10,000 prize and Mustard Belt for three consecutive years and has won the contest 11 times. Last year, he set the world record by eating 74 hot dogs in 10 minutes.

The 2018 runner-up, Carmen Cincotti, will not be competing this year, leaving Matt Stonie as Chesnut’s biggest competitor. Stonie beat Chestnut in 2015, ruining his streak, and will try to do the same this time. Reigning champion Joey Chestnut, center, celebrates after winning the men's competition of the Nathan's Famous Fourth of July hot dog eating contest in the final seconds of the competition, Wednesday, July 4, 2018, in New York's Coney Island.
