Remember loved ones who have passed away or pay tribute to those fighting illness and disease by participating in Hospice East Rand’s annual Candles of Remembrance ceremony, on December 4, from 17:00.
The event will once again be held virtually and the community is urged to follow the organisation’s Facebook page where a link for the live stream will be shared. Gather at home with friends and family, light a candle to remember those who have lost their battle to cancer and other life-limiting diseases.
Messages for the Wall of Remembrance may be submitted via the organisation’s website which will be screened during the event. Donations are also encouraged which will be used to continue supporting patients who are not in a position to contribute to palliative care.
