The two thugs, who have not yet been caught, are seen attacking the pair at around 7am on Sunday, May 12.
A horrifying video shows a man and woman being dragged to the ground and being kicked in a reported mugging on a busy street in London. It has not been confirmed if it was a mugging, however an item is seemingly pulled from one of the victim’s hands in the footage.
A woman, believed to be a friend of the mugging victims, was seen watching on in horror as the pair were attacked on Eversholt Street in north London, leaving them sprawled on the ground, reports the Mirror. The second attacker, dressed in a purple hoodie, appears to drag the woman back to the pavement by her hair as she tries to escape into the road. Her head is then pressed against the side of the road, but she manages to escape the attackers grasp and start pursuing the other thug. As she attempts to flee, she is held down again by the second man.
A Met Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at 06:55hrs on Sunday, 12 May, to reports of a fight in Eversholt Street, NW1. Officers attended the location. All parties had left when police arrived.
