Radio host Kyle Sandilands has revealed his “horrific” experience with domestic violence in graphic detail.
Shock jock Kyle Sandilands has told his Melbourne and Sydney audiences of his experience growing up with domestic violence where his mother was often violently assaulted at the hands of his father.
Sandilands revealed he spent"all of my time ” where he told his younger sibling the sounds of smashed plates and broken glass were just “thunder.”“And I would remember I was only really little. I didn’t even know what was going on.” Sandilands was due to call Prime Minister Anthony Albanese after Thursday’s show to discuss the Prime Minister’s plan to give victims an immediate $5000 payment to flee their violent homes as part of an almost 1-billion-dollar package announced by the government on Wednesday.
It comes merely days after he pleaded with the Prime Minister to do more in the battle against domestic violence in Australia.
