Hoops for Harmony: Stand Against Racism event returns with over 45 games across three venues in York County, featuring several Mid-Penn Conference teams and nationally ranked programs.

The Central Dauphin Rams will face off against Dallastown at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday at York Tech in the Hoops for Harmony: Stand Against Racism event. The event, the brainchild of York Suburban athletic director Ron Coursey, who initiated it several years ago, has expanded to encompass over 45 games across three venues, primarily utilizing the multiple arenas at York County School of Technology.

Coursey's overarching message is to foster a sense of unity among the players and all attendees, encouraging them to actively stand against racism.Several Mid-Penn Conference programs are participating, including Trinity's boys team, scheduled for a 1 p.m. matchup against Maryland's Glenelg Country School on Saturday at York Tech. On the girls' side, former Cedar Cliff standout and Harvard-bound guard Olivia Jones, along with the nationally ranked Westtown, are returning to Hoops for Harmony. The eighth-ranked Moose (15-3) will face Wyomissing at 3:30 p.m. Saturday before taking on Virginia's Bishop Ireton at 10 a.m. Sunday. The latter is currently ranked 11th overall in the SCNext power rankings. Central Dauphin's game against Dallastown will follow Westtown on Saturday at York Tech, while Palmyra and York Suburban will play after the Rams' match.Tickets are available for day passes on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday and encompass all three sites – York Tech, York High, and York Suburban.
