Deputies responded to the area near 6200 West and 5700 South in Hooper just before 11 p.m. on Halloween.When deputies arrived in the area, the found the 43-year-old man inside a home with a gunshot wound. He was treated at the scene before being transported to the hospital in critical condition.Officials said the woman was found not far from the home and taken into custody. Her identity was not released.
