The final closed beta for Honkai: Star Rail has been announced, with players getting an additional chance of testing developer HoYoverse’s RPG before its release. Honkai: Star Rail is a space fantasy adventure with a team-building turn-based combat system. Players follow the story of the main protagonist known as the Trailblazer, who joins a team of allies on the spacial train Astral Express.

Honkai: Star Rail’s Final Closed Beta Has A New Destination, Co-Op Mode, & More In the final closed beta, players will be able to experience most of what was featured in Honkai: Star Rail’s previous closed beta, as well as new additions. While the icy planet Jarilo-VI makes its return, Trailblazers will also explore Xianzhou Luofu, described as “a gigantic dreadnought belonging to the Xianzhou Alliance, one of the most powerful and influential factions in the universe.
HoYoverse also states that Honkai: Star Rail’s final closed beta will have new gameplay features, such as an experimental co-op mode, companion missions, photo mode, and more. Other details have not yet been announced. Players will also get a chance at testing new characters, too, such as the 5-star Bailu.
Honkai: Star Rail’s final closed beta will be held on three distinct platforms: PC, iOS, and Android. While the testing period is set to start on February 9 at 9 PM EST, there is no confirmed end date. The game’s official release date has also not been announced and is pending, according to developer HoYoverse. Star Rail is considered to be the start of a new series in the Honkai universe and not a sequel to Honkai Impact 3rd.
