The Bellevue Hill apartment sold by John Baker in 1989 for $790,000 was sold back to him recently for $5.2 million.“I remember coming home to the apartment smelling like a cigarette factory and having to hang my clothes outside because they stank so much, but that was just part of that era,” Baker said.It was a two-bedroom apartment in Greenwich’s waterfront Greenwich Point Marina for which she paid $20,000.
