Honda will showcase electric vehicle prototypes at CES next year, with plans to make them available for purchase globally around 2026. The vehicles will stem from futuristic concepts, including a flagship model called the Saloon, known for its aerodynamic design. They will be Honda 's inaugural entries in the Series 0 lineup, anticipated to incorporate an advanced driver-assisted system and, in the future, AI-powered automated driving capabilities.
Alongside the prototypes, Honda will unveil a novel proprietary vehicle operating system utilized by the Series 0 cars and offer insights into the SoC powering these vehicles. While Honda lagged behind competitors in the transition to electric vehicles, its first electric SUV, the Prologue, gained popularity in the US following its release earlier this year. Honda will reveal its new EV prototypes during its press conference in Las Vegas on January 7 at 10:30 AM PT/1:30 PM ET
