Several homes were burning after a wildfire broke out Monday in a Dallas suburb.
The blaze was in Balch Springs, southeast of the city. Photos and video from local news stations showed multiple homesThe Dallas Morning News reported the fireThe newspaper quoted a local fire marshal as saying at least 8 to 10 homes had burned. Several others were ordered to evacuate.Balch Springs was under a heat advisory until 8 p.m. for temperatures exceeding 103 and heat indices near 105.
