Take a look inside Farrow & Ball creative director Charlie Cosby's family home on the south coast of England.
Charlotte Cosby, Creative Director at Farrow Ball, and Lawrence Showell, Outdoor Holidays Development for The National Trust – and their two children, Bea and Raffi – live in this detached four-bedroom early Edwardian house in Southbourne, Dorset just a five-minute walk from the beach. Charlotte bought the top floor flat in 2010 and when the ground floor flat came up for sale in 2020, the couple bought it and turned the property back into a house.
The walls and ceiling are painted in School House White and Card Room Green Estate Emulsion. 'I love the texture of the roses in the oil painting above the mantel piece,' explains Charlotte. 'I’ve had it for years but never had a place to put it.' The ceramics on little tables are from Margot Wilson. Most of the furniture and accessories are from vintage shops or eBay. The hallwayThe mural in the hall was inspired by the nearby coastline which is lined with pine trees.
