PUTRAJAYA: The Home Ministry is seriously considering carrying out personnel rotation involving government agencies under its purview more frequently, says Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail .

Saifuddin said he has taken note of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's suggestion that heads of departments implement staff rotation regularly to avoid cases of misconduct among public officials. On Aug 16, when announcing a pay raise for civil servants, Anwar said all HODs will be subjected to disciplinary action, including ineligibility for promotion, if they fail to report their subordinates’ misconduct.
