The Museum is hosting a special day of activities on January 27th to mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Events include reading the names of victims, meeting Holocaust survivors, lighting memorial candles and watching a livestream of the commemoration ceremony at the UN.
“On Monday, January 27, we are hosting a special day of activities for International Holocaust Remembrance Day, which is held on the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.We are inviting you and others to meet Holocaust survivors, read the names of Holocaust victims, and light memorial candles.
The Museum invites the public to remember the victims, honor the survivors and reaffirm the lessons of the Holocaust. Events that day will include● From 10am until 4pm, visitors will be able to read the names of victims in the Hall of Remembrance. Visitors may bring their own list or the Museum will provide one. Visitors can also simply listen or light a memorial candle.
