What was it aiming to achieve? Was it a fundraising drive? Was it a campaign to let people know that they have to stay inside and continue social-distancing? Was it an open invitation to take up residence in just one of their unused spare bedrooms?I still have no idea WTF it was trying to achieve, but it’s fair to say we’re all a little fatigued by celebrities amid this crisis who are saying ‘we’re all in this together’.
Plus the way they make it look so easy to remain in your home without wanting to tear down the walls. Am I being too harsh? Potentially. But this all just reeks of the whole ‘thoughts and prayers’ palaver we see so much of when a crisis hits the world.
