THE cast of ailing soap Hollyoaks are flogging online video messages to fans for as much as £306 in a bid to boost earnings following a mass exodus and budget cuts.The Channel 4 soap called time on the character of Grace Black last year after a decade on our screens- who has been on the show for more than 28 years - is also flogging personalised video messages to fans for a £24 fee.

The mass exodus comes after it was announced that the soap will be slashed to just 3 episodes a week from September. The 46-year-old said at the time: "It's absolutely devastating. When I got told, I bawled my eyes out for three days, I was so upset – it's been the best time of my life."
