An expert has shared a warning to all holidaymakers to be extra cautious when doing one simple thing... connecting to public Wi-Fi

You've probably started planning your next holiday with the school Easter holidays on the horizon. But, an expert has shared a crucial warning to all holidaymakers to be extra cautious when connecting to public Wi-Fi.

That's according to website expert Alan from Incredtools, who says even uploading something as simple as an airport selfie to your social media can pose a risk. He said: "Login credentials for social media accounts or online banking transactions may be intercepted. This data may include sensitive information such as your personal details or even the specifics of your financial transactions.

As Alan explains: "Using a virtual private network is a reliable safety measure, as this encrypts your internet connection and protects your data from potential eavesdroppers."Turn off sharing features
