Holidaymakers brace themselves for further travel chaos. 🔴 British Airways flights out of Heathrow are expected to bear the brunt of the cancellations as a result of 'slot alleviation' measures introduced by the Government.
It comes after months of travel chaos that has left travellers facing long delays and cancellations due to chronic staff shortages caused by Covid and a shortfall in workers as travel reopened.

Travel plans for tens of thousands of holidaymakers this summer could be thrown into further chaos after British Airways staff at Heathrow voted for industrial action in a dispute over pay,they had faced 40 years of growth in four months which had “put the entire aviation industry under pressure”, with BA slashing 10 per cent of its flights this summer.
