Columbus performer Nina West stars in 'Hairspray' tour
Broadway in Columbus and the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts will present the national tour of “Hairspray” Nov. 8-13 in the Ohio Theatre, 39 E. State St. Columbus-based performer, stars as plus-sized mom Edna Turnblad in the original creative team’s revival of the 2005 Tony winner for best musical about a plus-sized 1962 Baltimore teenager who helps smash barriers as she dances her way into a local TV teen-dance show. Tickets start at $39.
