There are so many walking shoes for women in 2024, but there’s one brand that I come back to repeatedly: Hoka. In my career, I’ve had the opportunity to try loads of sneakers from so many different makers, but there’s just something about Hokas. And it’s not just me—their expansive offerings in the sneaker space account for favorites among podiatrists, runners, and editors alike. But how do two of their most popular styles compare? I tested Hoka Bondi vs Clifton to find a clear winner.
They feel sturdy and have gotten me across a mountain , all over NYC, and through a 12-hour travel day. Though a bit clunky , they are surprisingly lightweight. The plush design stays true to Hoka’s designs rooted in comfort, and the rubber outsole provides great traction. I find my strides confident in these, as they are the epitome of stability. I wouldn’t say they are ideal for those looking to shave time off their mile , but for everyday runs and running errands, they are ideal.
