Hoboken's annual SantaCon returns on December 21st, inviting participants to don their Santa suits or ugliest sweaters for a day of holiday cheer and bar hopping. Hundreds of revelers will check in at participating venues like Wicked Wolf, Black Bear, and The Hoboken Biergarten, receiving wristbands granting access to drink specials, DJs, and the after party at the Madd Hatter.
Lines for for entry to a Hoboken establishment for Hoboken SantaCon 2023 on Dec. 16, 2023. Whether you’ve been naughty or nice, Santa Claus is coming to town. Actually, a lot of Santas are coming to town for Hoboken ’s 2024 SantaCon on Saturday, Dec. 21, at 10 a.m.
The annual bar crawl draws hundreds of participants each year for the festive day of drinking at participating venues throughout the Mile Square City. Participants dress for the day in Santa suits or ugly sweaters. Santa hats are everywhere during the colorful event. There will be more than 11 participating venues for the event including the following with check-in times:Wicked Wolf, 120 Sinatra Drive, 1 to 4 p.m.Black Bear, 205 Washington St., 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.The Shepherd & The Knucklehead, 1313 Willow Ave., 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.The Hoboken Biergarten, 1422 Grant St., 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.Participants can check in at any of the venues to receive their Hoboken SantaCon wristband, which will act as a ticket for access into each participating bar.
There will be gifts included in the bar crawl depending on where you sign up, like a free welcome voucher if you register at the Shepherd and the Knucklehead or a free Santa hat at the Hoboken Biergarten.
