In contrast, he praised the PATH train's efficiency and its ability to quickly recover from minor disruptions. To mitigate the impact of the closure, the Port Authority has implemented several strategies. Ferry service will be increased during peak hours, running every 10 minutes from both Hoboken terminals on weekdays. Midtown service will also be extended to 10 p.m. on weekdays and 11 p.m. on weekends. NJ Transit will bolster the frequency of the No. 126 bus, connecting Hoboken to the Port Authority Midtown Bus Terminal, and PATH will operate more trains at other stations during peak times.
