It looks like a new Hong Kong drama is in the works - and the best part is that Malaysia will play a major role in it! Local news outlets have recently reported that several Hong Kong stars are currently in Kuala Lumpur to film for an upcoming drama.
According to China Press, the project is a drama co-produced by Youku and One Cool Film titled “Fearless ”. Hong Kong actor Sam Lee serves as the executive producer and one of the main characters. The 49-year-old recently shared some pictures taken from the filming site, including a photo of him and several other cast members performing a prayer ceremony to bless the filming.Sam also shared a photo of the cast members having dinner together, revealing who will be part of the drama.
Cast member Adrian Chau also took to Instagram to share what he's been up to while filming in Malaysia. In his post, the actor revealed that he had already eaten four varieties of durian since being in the country. The star joked that he’s ready to gain weight from all the local food but said that his hotel has a 24-hour gym, so will likely spend his time there when not on set.
Hong Kong actress Chrissie Chau is reportedly the female lead in the drama. However, the star wasn’t present during the group dinner so she'll likely join the filming on a later date. Meanwhile, fans have shared welcome messages to the cast, wishing them a smooth filming and a safe stay in Malaysia. According to China Press, the filming will last until September or October.
