Day four sent the HOT ROD Power Tour Driven by Continental north to National Trail Raceway in Columbus, Ohio.
is the biggest ever as we celebrate its 30th anniversary, running through a Southern/Midwest route. There are over 6,000 vehicles registered, and it nudged around 7,000 earlier this week. The Day Four travels took the world’s largest traveling car show along the Ohio River and then northeast to Huron, Ohio, just outside of Columbus, to National Trail Raceway.
The professional drag race staff at National Trail Raceway moved over 500 enthusiasts through its staging lanes and down the quarter-mile track. It was easy for HOT ROD Power Tour officials to select another dragstrip for today’s fun. The hobby was practically born from drag and street racing in the '40s and '50s, so it is a natural fit for so many hot-rodders.
