Production legends Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis to release debut album as artists
The legendary duo sign with BMG for the long-awaited project, promising"iconic collaborations spanning their influential discography."
The five-time Grammy Award-winning pair have crafted a deep catalog that includes more than 100 gold, platinum, multi-platinum and diamond albums through their collaborations with acts such as Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Kanye West, Usher, Gwen Stefani, George Michael, Mariah Carey and many more.In announcing their next project, Jam said:"BMG immediately got our vision and understood where we wanted to go with this album. There was real mutual respect.
"It’s crazy to think we’re about to release our debut album after all these years," adds Lewis."This is going to be a very special moment and we are grateful to have this team behind us." Outside of the R&B, pop and soul works they’ve shaped, the Minnesota pair have composed music for TBS network’s basketball broadcasts and composed and produced"Welcome To The World," the theme of the opening ceremonies of the 1996 summer Olympic Games.
