Netflix has successfully acquired the worldwide distribution rights to the upcoming family drama titled His Three Daughters.
The film had its world premiere last month at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival. The acquisition deal reportedly cost the streamer at least $7 million, making it the third“When their father’s health worsens, three estranged sisters come together to try to plan for the inevitable,” reads the synopsis. The eldest is high-strung Katie , who talks a hundred miles a minute and stresses about all the practical details.
His Three Daughters is written, directed, and edited by Jacobs. The main cast includes Coon as Katie, Olsen as Christina, Lyonne as Rachel, Jovan Adepo as Benji, Rudy Galvan as Angel, Jay O. Sanders as Vincent, and more. Following its world premiere at TIFF, the film has received early praises from critics, and is currently at a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 20 reviews.
Executive producers are Olsen, Coon, Lyonne, Danielle Renfrew Behrens, Maya Rudolph, Peter Friedland, Neil Shah and Sophia Lin.
