Def Jam records founder Russell Simmons is embroiled in an ugly family feud with his daughters and ex-wife Kimora Lee Simmons.

Hip hop music and fashion mogul Russell Simmons has become involved in a family feud with his ex-wife Kimora Lee Simmons amid allegations he"threatened" their two daughters.

However, Kimora, 48, took to Instagram on Monday to post multiple messages aimed at her first husband and claimed he had been “threatening my kids' lives.” She also slammed Russell, saying he was projecting his own “shortcomings and embarrassments” onto others.Simmons came to prominence after co-founding the Def Jam Recordings record label but became a “mogul” after founding the hip hop clothing company Phat Farm.

Kimora is a former runway model and fashion designer who created the Baby Phat clothing label with her husband in the late 1990s.Their eldest daughter Aoki also shared that she struggles to have a relationship with her father due to his"verbal abuse" to the extent where she “could not hear” his voice without experiencing a panic attack.

One screenshot appears to show Simmons calling Kimora a “piece of s***” and accusing his former wife of stealing money from him.
