I have seen many ways to clean the lint on a lint screen -- some being very creative.
If women’s public restrooms had a hook closer to the commode for our handbag, it would be appreciated. At times, we need personal items from the bag, and the coat hook is 3 or more feet away. The hook may also prevent the theft of the bag. Needless to say, placing our bag on the restroom floor is the worst place for it. -- Carolyn R., A San Antonio Fan But a simple, cordless hand vacuum seems to be the easiest, cleanest and most harmless for the lint screen.
We never told customers about freezing the wax, instead jumping directly to the warm iron suggestion. I suggest brown paper bags instead of paper towels, unless it’s just a small bit of wax. The brown paper bags will absorb more. I’ve offered this suggestion for years. It will read: “Coated with food-grade vegetable beeswax or lacresin-based wax or resin.” To be safe, you may want to buy organic lemons for zesting instead. -- C.
