The Warriors and Wiggins have prioritized privacy during this time, only referring to Wiggins' departure as the result of a personal family matter. Last week, coach Steve Kerr said Wiggins has been working out independently while he's been away, and the team has"hope" he may return before the season's end. Wiggins, 28, was born and raised in Ontario, Canada.

On Saturday, Wiggin's longtime girlfriend Mychal Johnson posted an Instagram story asking for recommendations for a"curly hair specialist" in the Bay Area. Some optimistic Warriors fans online have taken this as confirmation the family has returned, or plans on returning very shortly.
