Hilmy Othman angkat sumpah datuk bandar Kuching Utara

Pelantikan Hilmy Othman bagi menggantikan Junaidi Reduan yang menamatkan perkhidmatannya sebagai datuk bandar Kuching Utara semalam.

Hilmy Othman mula berkhidmat di Majlis Bandaraya Kuching Selatan sebagai ahli majlis pada 2000 sebelum memegang jawatan timbalan datuk bandar pada 2017.

“Inisiatif sebegini sudah dijalankan di bawah DBKU dan MBKS , tetapi kita mahu memberi penekanan pada kawasan tertentu berhubung kemudahan itu, justeru, lebih banyak usaha akan diambil bagi menyediakan kemudahan yang mesra kanak-kanak dan memenuhi keperluan masyarakat menua. Pelantikan beliau, berkuat kuasa selama dua tahun, adalah bagi menggantikan Junaidi Reduan yang menamatkan perkhidmatannya sebagai datuk bandar Kuching Utara semalam.
