Despite the rain dropping close to two inches and delaying the start of the game, hundreds of people showed up for Zeke Clark, 4, who lost part of his leg.

This year, they hosted their first “last game” fundraiser, where players ages 20 to 50 can enjoy their last time playing football for a good cause.

Saturday night's game benefitted a four-and-a-half-year-old named Zeke Clark, who lost part of his leg in a lawn mowing accident. Despite the rain dropping close to two inches at the Millersville University football stadium, delaying the start of the game, hundreds of people showed up for Clark. After driving in from Delaware, the crowd at the Millersville University stadium rallied around him.Whether the crowd was cheering for the Iron Legs, or the competing team, the Lancaster Nissans, everyone was there to show their love for the four-and-a-half-year-old.

However, hours earlier, severe thunderstorms, lightning and fast-moving floods threatened the game, and most importantly, it threatened the chance to raise money for Clark.“That may have deterred some,” said Sean Laukhuff, co-founder of Iron Legs. But Jodi Bachman, who was there with her family and friends, said there was no shot the rain could have stopped them.“Watching a bunch of old people beat each other up – who doesn’t want to see something like that?” said Laukhuff. All proceeds from this game will go towards paying for prosthetics for Clark when he’s ready for an advanced one.
