Around 5:10 a.m., police were called to the first block of Cliff Road in Highland Park for a report of an unconscious man on Lake Michigan's shoreline. Lake ForestAccording to preliminary information, a 45-year-old man went to talk with people being loud on the lakeshore. The 20-year-old, Nicholas M. Caban, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm without a serial number. The firearm had no identifiable serial numbers.
