A high school student has been taken to hospital in critical condition after she was hit by a car in Melbourne’s north-east.

Emergency services were called to an accident on Diamond Creek Road in Greensborough at 3.30pm on Tuesday.Ambulance Victoria said a high school-aged girl was taken to Royal Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.
