A high school football player in Kentucky died on Monday following a head injury he sustained during a practice scrimmage last week., Andrew Dodson — a junior who played tight end and defensive end last season — from Pulaski County High School in southern Kentucky was the victim.
that the tragic incident occurred after his son ran the ball during Pulaski’s scrimmage against teammates last week. He also said that the hit his son took wasn’t overly aggressive or out of the ordinary.“It was not a violent hit or helmet-to-helmet,” said Alan Dodson. “It was a simple, clean tackle.”
