According to court documents, Spencer was angry after the 14-year-old slammed his bedroom door following an argument with his brother last September. He slammed his son against a wall and threw a gun case at the boy's back as he ran down the stairs, causing him to fall, court documents say. The teen told investigators his father then chased him from room to room and held him down.

The boy called for his mother to pick him up and she's the one who called 911. He had scratches and bruises on his face, arm and back, according to Houston police. As part of his bond conditions, Spencer was ordered to stay away from the teen. MCSO said someone in The Woodlands called to say Spencer had violated the order and was outside a family member's house.
