It's going to be a beautiful end to the workweek! T.J. Springer lets us know when the heat and humidity return.
Thursday has been much nicer throughout the region, thanks to lower dew points and more sunshine. It's been a beautiful, Summer-Like day. Friday features more of the same with plenty of sunshine and highs in the mid-80s. Warmer and more humid air then streams in ahead of another storm system this weekend. A chance for storms is on the table each day with highs up close to 90. A warm front lifts in on Saturday and that could ignite a few storms.
On the backside of this boundary, cooler and more refreshing air sinks southward early next week. Highs look to round out in the lower 80s along with an abundance of sunshine. If you have off for Independence Day, we're expecting conditions to turn a little unsettled once again. It's not looking like a washout but a series of disturbances moves our way bringing isolated storm chances. Afternoon readings look to spike back into the lower 90s along with more humidity.
