This situation is not sustainable for Israel. A tit-for-tat series of responses will not stop the Iranian-backed militia group. To not respond would have only invited more terror. This state of affairs is clearly the product of President Biden’s tepid foreign policy of appeasement. It is time for the international community to re-examine its policies and practices concerning occupied territories. The principles of international law should be applied uniformly, regardless of the actors involved. Only then can we hope to see a fair and just resolution to conflicts in the region.
As stated by the director of outreach for PETA, the effort should be aimed at the people who think the city streets are their personal garbage cans, as opposed to setting rat traps.
