The Alabama head coach joins Eli Gold and the Crimson Tide Sports Network to talk about the football program as they get set for a showdown with the LSU Tigers.
The Crimson Tide Sports Network hosts its weekly"Hey Coach Show" on Thursday nights during the fall. The program is hosted live at Baumhower's Victory Grille next to the University of Alabama campus.head coach Nick Saban was in attendance to talk about the Tennessee win and preview the upcoming matchup against the LSU Tigers.
Snell,"Alabama is way more of a family like school. The campus is bigger so it's harder to walk to class. I love it here. The coaches, the advisors the support staff are so great. It is a different feel but I'm home."Vaughn,"My first thought is, this is the hottest place on earth. I felt what Kade's talking about, the people you're around every day is a special group of people. The fall's going great but these guys are on the way to doing something special.
Vaughn,"Oh they were thrilled. Maryland is a special place and both our sons were born there but we were ready for the next step and I couldn't imagine a better place to raise a family."Vaughn,"I think we have some star power on the mound. I think there are some high end arms. Ben Hess, Riley Quick, Alton Davis, Aidan Moza, the list goes on. But seeing these guys doing some special things offensively. We're going to hit some home runs this year and drive the baseball.
Saban sits down at the end of the answer,"I guess this is a good time for me to talk about the relationship we've had with CBS for how many years? Almost the whole time I've been in the SEC. We were the first conference to have their own network and that was huge in building the conference years ago because everybody else had regional games. I tell the story about Mark Ingram, he might be the only guy that won the Heisman Trophy that never really won the Southeast.
