At an amusement park industry expo, the amusement park unveiled a new car design.

Specifically, during the International Association of Amusement Parks & Attraction’s Expo 2022, the amusement park unveiled car designs featuring full-dimensional black, charcoal and silver wild cats.

The cars will lead the trains on the rollercoaster replacing the recently-decommissioned Wildcat coaster. Fittingly, the new ride has been dubbed Wildcat’s Revenge, and it will restore the park’s full number of rollercoasters to 15. The new coaster is being manufactured by Rocky Mountain Construction, and will feature a hybrid of steel and wooden construction, with an all-new steel track will be added to an existing wooden framework.

Wildcat’s Revenge will boast a 140-foot tall hill, top speeds of 62 miles per hour, and four inversions, including what will be the world’s largest underflip. The ride will run for two minutes and 36 seconds per trip along 3,510 feet of track, and will be open to guests 48 inches tall and up. The ride is expected to be ready by summer of 2023, which will also mark a full century since the installation of the original Wild Cat ride at Hersheypark.
