Hershey Theatre has issued an apology and refunds following an "unprecedented" last-minute cancellation of its Mean Girls show on Sunday.
The show was scheduled to be performed on the evening of Oct. 15, but the team at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts said that the show was cancelled as a result of audio issues that were unable to be resolved. Director of Public Relations Quinn Bryner said that the company alerted guests to the problem as soon as they became aware the show would need to be canceled.
All guests who bought tickets to the cancelled show should have automatically been issued a refund at the ticket's point of purchase, according to Bryner. Guests who bought tickets through Ticketmaster will get their refund issued through Ticketmaster, and guests who ordered tickets at the box office will receive a refund via their original form of payment.
"On behalf of the tour and the Theatre operations, we apologize for the disappointment everyone felt leaving the Theatre on Sunday evening," Bryner said.
