According to the San Antonio Police Department, two pit bulls went through a hole in a fence and attacked a 30-year-old man. While he was being attacked, there was a neighbor nearby who was able to witness the whole ordeal. The witness just so happened to live down the street and grabbed his pistol. The witness fired several shots at the dogs who were savagely attacking the victim and both of the dogs died at the scene.Officials share that the witness who defended the victim will not be facing charges. Police say that the victim could have been killed if that witness had not stepped in.
Officers are waiting on detectives to determine whether or not the owner of the dogs will be held criminally responsible.
